Project title Elaboration of eco-effective
standard documentation package for implementation of waste water
sludge treatment technologies in Latvia
Overall objective
To promote implementation of waste water sludge technologies in practice
in order to ensure the formation of full water treatment cycle within
country and to prevent created pollution by irrelevant storage and
disposal of waste water sludge.
Specific objectives
Project's specific objectives include: assessment of sludge
treatment technologies used in world's practice and the most optimal
option of solutions for waste water sludge treatment in order of
generated sludge quantities, humidity, pollution type and its
concentration; elaboration of complete documentation corresponding
to project's implementation requirements; presentation of the most
appropriate waste water sludge treatment technologies and prepared
documentary materials to wide public range by organizing seminars
and visit to technologies' exploitation venues.
